Actually, Yes You Can Achieve Anything You Dream Of
I bet when you were reading that title, you felt something shift in you. Maybe it was excitement. Maybe fear. Maybe you thought, “Ha, that’s not my reality.”
I want you to lean in. Come a little closer. I want to hold your hand when I say this to you, and believe me when I say I’m about to tell you what no one else will.
You can have anything you want in this life, but you will never find the answers that get you there from an external source.
I don’t have the answers you’re looking for. And neither does anyone else on this planet. But what I can do is help guide you back to the part of you that does.
Because the answers are already within you. Sometimes it just helps to have someone hold the light for you.
You were born on this Earth for a purpose, for a reason. We are put on this Earth to do the very thing our souls agreed to do before we were born. We live each and every day with a knowing inside of us, whether we are living that purpose or not.
Sometimes it comes to you as a little voice, something you’ve always dreamed of doing or achieving, and maybe you pushed that voice away. Or maybe you had a vision of the thing you most wanted to do. Maybe you’ve always dreamed of being a fashion influencer, a speaker, a doctor, a marine biologist, an inventor, a creator, or a stay-at-home parent or spouse.
Whatever it is you’ve always felt that pull toward, it’s not some random idea you came up with on a Tuesday because you were bored. No. This is literally the blueprint of your entire makeup. This is who your soul knows you are meant to be.
So why does any of this matter, and how does it tie into getting anything you want in life (morally, of course)? Because that person you’ve always felt you are meant to be, that identity your soul, your intuition, nudges you toward, that version of you who lives authentically and passionately, that version of you has the answers.
And guess what? That version of you, you are already them. How could you not be? If you feel that call, that nudge, it’s not because some separate version of you is living that life and you’re not. You’re feeling that nudge because it’s literally the future version of you pulling you toward them.
Because in some version of reality, you have already achieved your goals and your dreams. Everything you’ve set out to do, in exactly the way you want it or better, has already happened. And future you is leaving you breadcrumbs to follow that path. It’s up to you whether or not you will listen to that inner voice and follow the call.
Maybe you’re saying to yourself, “Claire, I can’t do that. I’m up to my eyeballs in debt.” Or maybe, “I’m too scared to do this. What if it doesn’t work? What if I fail and everyone makes fun of me?”
Can I be honest with you for a second? What if you don’t? What happens if you don’t do it? If you don’t change anything, what will you be doing? If, a year from now, you are doing the exact same thing, your same habits, same routines, would you be happy with what you’re doing?
My goal, my passion, MY purpose on this Earth is to show people that there is another way. To follow that little voice within you that’s guiding you, even if you don’t want to hear it, because it never really goes away.
So, how do you achieve anything you want in life?
Step number one: follow the voice. One step at a time, follow the voice. Follow the nudge. It won’t always be easy, because if you truly want to achieve anything you want in life, you have to stop avoiding all the parts of you that demand to be seen, heard, validated, felt. And you definitely have to stop listening to that other (much louder) voice that tells you you can’t do it.
And this is where most people stop… but this is actually where the real work begins.
I had to do so much healing work within myself. I had to look at every corner of who I was, and I had to do it honestly. It was difficult, I won’t lie to you. I had to face traumatic, embarrassing, painful memories at times that I thought would collapse me.
But at the end of the day, I didn’t fall. No, I did the exact opposite. I took myself down to my foundation, and what I built back up, literally from the ground up - was a fucking empire.
Because as hard as it was to look at every part of myself I didn’t want to see, it gave me the one thing I had been searching for all along: clarity. It gave me the gift of knowing who I was, what I was meant for, and how to do it in an emotionally regulated way.
I truly believe one of the greatest gifts we can be given in this lifetime is emotional regulation and intelligence. Because once you unlock your mind and master how you respond to your emotions, you can literally do anything.
There’s no stopping how far you can go. You shatter the ceiling of limits. You blow straight through that ceiling of limited possibility, and suddenly you have an entire universe of opportunity.
Think of it like this. You know that annoying message that pops up on your phone that says, “Storage full, buy more storage”? It’s arguably the most annoying thing. What do you mean “buy more storage”? I paid over $1,000 for you, why don’t you have unlimited storage?
You know the feeling.
Now I want you to use that same analogy, but this time, it’s your brain. You are maxed out on storage. And when your storage is full of limiting beliefs, old identities, and worries about whether Jessica is talking about your post behind your back, how will you ever create room for more if you don’t delete what no longer serves you?
You don’t have room to expand. Literally. You are at 99.9% capacity with things that don’t belong there anymore.
At the end of the day, we are only ever in the present moment. Tomorrow will come, but it will always be today. It will always be this present moment. You cannot move forward if you’re stuck in the past, and you will stress yourself out if you are constantly thinking about the future. What good is that doing for your present moment?
I say all of this with genuine compassion and love. Allow me to explain:
I was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, OCD (emphasis on the obsessive thoughts portion), CPTSD, and ADHD (as a result of my anxiety). The list goes on.
Today, I am no longer those things. I am not “healed,” and I am not a “healer,” and this is not meant to discredit those diagnoses. I am simply no longer those things.
I work alongside a therapist, and I am fortunate to have incredible support systems through friends and family. But I have reached a place in my life, through working on myself, my mindset, my trauma, and all of my parts, where I know life is meant to be lived.
A friend recently told me that instead of saying, “I have anxiety,” try instead to say, “I am feeling anxious right now.” Maybe that will help someone, too.
So, here’s the thing.
If you want to achieve anything in life, your goals, your dreams, your desires, money, love, travel, you have to take the first step. And that first step is you.
I hate to spoil the ending, but you already achieved what you desire. You already did it. Because that nudge, that little voice, wouldn’t be there if you hadn’t. It wouldn’t exist.
So if you want proof, there it is. Your proof. Your answer. Your blueprint. Your roadmap. Everything you need to succeed, everything you need to do exactly what you desire, is already within you. You don’t have to look any further. Because you already made it.
To take this a step further, I want you to try something.
Write down the thing you desire most. Maybe it’s money, love, your dream home, a child, whatever it may be. Now ask yourself, “For what purpose do I want this?” Write down the very first intuitive answer that comes to mind. Don’t overthink it, just write it. Repeat this step until you feel you’ve reached the highest purpose. Be honest with yourself. Let your subconscious speak.
Once you’ve reached that answer, ask yourself, “Where in my life does this already exist?”
For example, if you said, “I want money,” for what purpose? “To be financially secure.” For what purpose? “To live my life how I want.” For what purpose? “To be free.” So your final word is freedom.
Now ask yourself, where does freedom already exist in my life right now? If that version of freedom is already possible for you, why wouldn’t financial freedom be possible for you, too?
And to take it even further, I want you to try something else, (if it aligns with you).
Think of something you truly desire. Listen to that inner voice, this is key, and be honest with yourself. What is it that you truly want?
Now ask your higher power, whether that’s the Universe, God, Source, Allah, Goddess, a Deity, or whoever resonates with you, and any loved ones on the other side, for a sign. Get specific. Choose something you wouldn’t normally see. Ask for a sign that they are with you, guiding you, supporting you on this path.
Then give it time. Sometimes signs appear right away. Sometimes it takes a little longer.
But I think you might be pleasantly surprised. ✨
